Overview
True Spec Golf is a leader in custom club-fitting. With a new global expansion, their exisiting marketing materials and website weren't effectively conveying their expertise or new global reach. The identified goals were to bring a stronger focus on growing leads and communicating the benefits of True Spec's custom club fitting and global presence.
Research
The team began by analyzing competitors as well as a broader review of best practices in regards to growing leads in the industry. True Spec's marketing materials were quite inconsistent in the how the brand was presented due to a mix of in-house and freelancer work. Interviews with True Spec's marketing staff and senior executives allowed us to identify customer pain points and how to best address them.
Solutions
We developed a new visual design that was carried through print and digital media, ensuring a consistent appearance no matter how customers interacted with True Spec Golf. On the homepage, geo-targeting was used to highlight the geographically closest location to visitors. Each location was highlighted via photgraphy of an iconic image of each location along with details or the services and studio. The location pages were used repurposed for use as landing pages in associated PPC campaigns. Contact forms were updated to allow potential customers to book the specific services for the location they were interested in. Finally, the site was translated into French and Japanese, allowing True Spec to reach a larger global audience.
Results
True Spec Golf saw a 65% increase in website traffic, leading to a $230,000 increase in sales, a 180% increase over their previous period. The geo-targeted site with a guided customer experience encouraged visitors to book a fitting at their nearest location.
